Engine is number 22, and is from the 1984/85 Formula 1 season as can be seen from the certificate.

This was Porsches F1 engine supplier for Mclaren as opposed to the Le Mans cars and engines.

These engines saw Porsche/TAG and Mclaren completely dominate the season with Lauda and Prost finishing 1st and 2nd. The COA also lists John Watson / Keke Rosberg / Stefan Johansson as drivers during the 1984 - 1987 seasons.


this is a genuine race engine block only with no internals. Enigne is clean - in dry stored condition.

The block will make a great centre piece with the V6 making a great champagne bottle holder and talking piece.
