⭕ Offered for sale is this 1968 BMW R60/2. This machine was found along with 3 others, stored away in a basement since 1985. The previous owner took the bike apart to restore it. He had most of the metal parts sand blasted and primed. He then started having a few of the parts professionally painted to a very high quality, including the front fork and several smaller items.

The engine, frame & frame ID tag all have a matching vin, and there is also a clear matching number title for the new owner to transfer into their name. The bike includes the correct original carbs and 25/8 rear drive. Even the cylinders are still on std. bore.

Also included is a HUGE pile of new parts that the previous owner bought for the bike. These include: a new stainless steel exhaust system; a complete stainless steel fastener kit; 2 Heidenau tires, tubes, rim straps; a pile of new rubber parts; 2 mirrors; a new handlebar & front fender brace; BMW tank emblems; carb & driveshaft clamps; a gas cap; brake linings; a new headlight rim and 4 pushrod tubes; plus much more - even down to the fuel line.

I can pack this all up into about 9-10 boxes for no charge if need be, or you are welcome to pick it up. I would not try to ship this in boxes via UPS, because at their prices it would be less expensive to use a bike shipper. But I will help with whatever method you desire.
