⭕ This is a fully rebuilt Pinto engine with the intended use of racing.

This engine was destined to be part of a racing project earlier this year which had to been cancelled. With the formulea mentioned below, it is likely the power output should exceed 200BHP and I would NOT recommend it for road use unless you want to do your daily shopping between 4,000 and 8,500 RPM!

This engine will come with a pair of brand new Webber 48 DCO SP Carburetors, Manifold and Throttle Linkage along with air filters. It will also come with a Bosch Vaccumless Distributor with a fixed dwell angle for high RPM and has been fitted with Optronic Lumination Ignition. The ignition will also come with a rev limiter and coil. The engine will also come with all ancillary components, starter motor, top and bottom hoses and a new water pump.

An almost like-new Type 3 4-Speed Gearbox from a low milage vehicle is included.

Engine Spec is as follows:

a 205 block rebored to 1.5mm overbore with new AE pistons.

A Reground crank to .25mm undersize with new AE bearings including big end mains and thrust.

Connecting rods are fixed with ARP rod bolts.

A high pressure oil pump with a new RS2000 pick-up pipe.

A brand new remanufactured alloy RS2000 sump with a modified baffle to reduce oil surge.

Cylinder head is a fully ported and polished Stage 2 from Burton Power with bigger stainless inlet valves.

The Cam is a Piper BP320 Cam accompanied with double valve springs. Also comes with a Vernier Pulley which has been dialed in and is run by a new Gates Powergrip Timing Belt and Tensioner.

The Flywheel weighs 4kg and is fixed with ARP bolts; attached to it is an AP Racing 4 Paddle Cerametallic Single Plate Clutch.

To have this engine run at its best, a Facet Red Top Fuel Pump and Filter King Pressure Regulator and Gauge and a lightweight 1lt Oil Catch Tank has also be included.

This Engine has only been run for 20 minutes to bed everything in and re-tourque the headbolts.
