I am a McKenzie friend with both an Undergraduate and Masters degree in Law and a wealth of legal experience. A McKenzie Friend is a person who provides REASONABLE LEGAL ASSISTANCE. I am here to help you through your legal issue or case no matter what it may be for a negotiable hourly rate of £30 per hour or fixed fee per document review.



SERVICES I OFFER: I offer the following services:

Telephone or face-to-face clinics with:

-Advice on court processes
-Assistance with forms and papers
-Answers to legal questions
-Moral Support and presence as an adviser in court hearings


PLEASE NOTE:

I am not a qualified lawyer (in England) so I cannot ACTUALLY CONDUCT your case for you or on your behalf.


TYPE OF WORK:

I provide assistance for you to handle your case yourself ON ALL TYPES OF LEGAL ISSUES AND DISPUTES and will be there for you from start to finish in exchange for a REASONABLE FEE much less than any solicitor.

Matters I can assist with include but are not limited to:
-Consumer Credit and Debt Issues
-Mortgage Issues
-Landlord and Tenant Issues
-Bankruptcy
-Accident Claims
-Business & Commercial issues
-Contract Disputes


FEE:

- First phone call is free (Initial Consultation phone call).

- Every other phone call after this (up to 30 minutes) will be £15. I will charge a fixed fee for £30 for any face to face meetings within the Greater Manchester Area (If you would like me to view documents and discuss). Or an increased fee if outside Greater Manchester. All fees will be negotiable.


CONFIDENTIALITY:

I do not process or record your personal details. All matters will be conducted with thorough confidentiality and you can be rest assured that your information will not be recorded in any way shape or form. Our contact will be limited ONLY to conversation.

I am bound by the rules of confidentiality and I have an obligation to take care in handling your documents and personal information under the Data Protection Act.

Employment Law Issues:

Employment disputes come under the jurisdiction of the Employment Tribunal as opposed to the actual Courts of England and Wales. Therefore a layperson or non-lawyer can represent you in respect of your dispute.
