This is an all silver step up transformer designed for the Io cartridges, be it an Audio Note or Kondo one. I went from an S2 to an S8 and could not believe the difference between the two, if you think the Io is a great cartridge but havent heard it with a step-up like this then you havent yet heard what your Io can do.
