I am offering my services as a freelance copy editor and/or proofreader for students and professionals wishing to give their writing some editorial fine-tuning.

Whether you are producing a college coursework paper, graduate thesis, professional letter, personal statement or manuscript, I am happy to fulfil your editorial requirements. Short-term (one-off) and long-term projects are equally welcome.

I was educated in both the United Kingdom and United States, and currently work in the editorial department of a legal publishers in central London. For the past year, I have also been a contributing editor for a San Francisco-based company seeking to internationalise their online learning tools.

In addition to being an accomplished and well-travelled graduate in the humanities and literary studies fields -- with higher degrees in Sociology (B.Sc. First Class Hons.), Literature (M.Litt. Distinction), and European History (M.A.) -- I have tutored in these subject areas for British AS and A2-level distance learning students.

My professional experiences have extended to writing workshops and graduate training in the United States, and producing written work for both academic and non-academic readers.

As this is a freelance obligation, I set a fee of £10 per 1,000 words of text payable through PayPal. That being said, the fee is always negotiable. As assignments require varying degrees of time to complete (e.g. you may have a strict deadline to adhere to, or require original copy), the fee can be recalculated and mutually agreed upon at the outset.

Digital copies of written work should be Word documents and exchanged via email, for editorial ease and greater efficiency.

All documents will remain the intellectual property of the original author and will not be shared with any other party.
