* * *WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?* * *

- Access to your Hosting Provider

I will need a username and password to access your hosting and domain. If you do not have a host or domain (URL or website address e.g. www..org), then send me a message - I can help you get setup.


- Images

For all pages including product pages you should include a photograph. Attach these in a Zipped folder and email them to me after we confirm the job. If you dont know how to Zip files into a folder, just send me a message, its easy. If you dont have photographs I can put in sample photographs or supply Dreamstime photos for £10 each (this must be paid for in advance).


- SEO

For all products that require SEO or pages, I will require 5 keywords. If you dont know what keywords to choose, just send me a message, I will explain best practices.


- Text

You will need to supply text for the pages and sections of your website, or I can put in example text. I can also write the text for you using my business skills - however, this costs extra, £5 per page or product description (including 250 words only). Most websites have the following pages / sections:

Note, that on a 1 page website (the Basic package) all this information is put onto a single page - a *Blog is not included in the 1 page website. You should email me a Word document containing the text after we confirm the job and you have paid the 50% deposit.



* * *FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS* * *

* *-Can you host the website and register the domain name?

I can help you register a domain and choose a hosting company. It is important that you own the domain and hosting package to give you control over your business. You should choose a reputable host that is word press friendly, I recommend 1 & 1.


* *-Do you speak on Skype or Phone?

Not usually. I do provide a custom made tutorial video showing you how to operate your site at the end of a job, or a revision.


* *-Can you do adult, gambling or religious websites?

No.


* *-When can I see a Mock-Up?

The website is not available to be seen before the project completion date. After that I will make revisions you require as indicated in the package.


* *-Can I add or edit, text, images on pages and products?

Yes. I will provide a simple tutorial video show you how to make any changes you want, including adding unlimited pages, blog posts and products.


* *-What about revisions and customizations?

I will make revisions ASAP. Revision requests must be made within 5 days of project completion of the project, or previous revision. Customization only includes those within boundaries of the theme. Major CSS changes (as determined by me) must be paid for separately.


* *-What happens if I lose my website?

I will show you how to make backups and restore your website. I do not keep website backups of the website after delivery of website for your own security and privacy.


* *-How do you optimize your websites for SEO?

I add 5 keywords per page (you must supply the keywords - if you are unsure what to choose I can explain best practices) using the Yoast SEO plugin for wordpress. I will explain in the tutorial video I provide at the end how you can do this yourself later for new pages.


* *-Can you use a Premium Theme that I choose?

Yes, this is included as part of the Premium package or you can add this as an extra for the other packages. You must also pay for this and supply the zip file and license details. Major changes or customization (including major CSS work) for the website can be requested as an extra only.
