One owner from new. Unit is less than 2 years old. The ARK-730A is a autorefractor keratometer that combines a refractometer and keratometer in a single device. The refractometer provides an objective measurement of refractive errors: sphere, cylinder and the axis of astigmatism in order to tend towards emmetropia. The keratometer measurement the corneal anterior surface and the radii of curvature gives mm, in diopters and astigmatism with the corneal axis. The device consists of a main part and a measurement unit which are integrated mounted on a base. The base is equipped with a chin patient side and operator side, a printer for printing of the measurement results. The main part is equipped a screen, a panel and a joystick used to perform the alignment and operations. The measuring unit has a measurement window through which the patient and sets a target from which infrared radiation is emitted on the patients eye. The apparatus comprises further automatic tracking device which automatically adjusts the measuring unit Up, down, right, left, forward or backward to follow the eye movements, and an automatic series of measures which allow to automatically series of measures as soon as the focus is correct.
