⭕ This is a Felder 731Combination Machine.Bought it new in 2005 for its high quality finish,accurate repeatable settings, and modern dust and chip extraction.
It has 2 5kw 415 volt motors and will handle 100mm thick stock cut easily.I ran this through an inverter, which is available as another sale.The RollerGlide sliding table will handle an 8x4 board in either dimension.and with the extra supports I could do this single handed. All the functions work to .01mm and are on digital read outs.
The spinal moulder not only rises and falls, but cants to 45degrees.The moulding fence and chip extraction are dowelled into the table to ensure they return to exactly the same place, preserving settings if need be. Chip extraction is exceptional, giving an extremely clean finish. There is some basic tooling included along with a circular work guard. There are 3x3 speed settings to cope with different diameter heads and various materials. The spindle has a quick change speed system along with complete spindle removal, if you want to pre set tooling and swap spindles.Scribing blades and motor,kit along with power feed for the spindle are currently still available for this machine from Felder.
The planer has a 4 blade block with Felders disposable blade system.There are several new sets of blades included. They produce a very high quality finish on the hardest woods and there are 2 feed speeds for the thicknesser The sliding table has a scar left by router. The damage is unsightly, but doesnt effect the machines performance..
The machine comes in 2 pieces so it can go through a standard doorway.It has a self locating system to ensure it realigns itself accurately when reassembled.
