⭕ Sedgwick tenoner TESH 3 head.
Generally considered the best mid size machine cast iron where it should be but not so cumbersome that it cant be moved. We have heavier machines on castor wheels.
Main motors 2.2kw third 4kw all with s10 brakes. Reliable as never had any failures.
Most people me included start with a 2 head machine but quickly realise the need for the 3rd head which opens up a whole new world of possibilities and flexibility. Eg the first 2 can be left as square edge whilst 3rd set to scribe. Thus both outcomes can be achieved without resetting.
Other senario is twin tenon as pictured additional scribe cutter on first heads whilst 3rd is used to slot.
The machine table can be collapsed in seconds to take up only 1100mm x 980mm footprint Inc overhangs.
This machine can potentially cut tenon 200mm long from stock approx 12 x 6 .
I used to work for the largest joinery Co in Britain/Europe and they only had these or massive wadkins.
Off the shelf cutters are readily and cheaply available from Axminster and many others. Alternatively you can grind your own cutters to any profile you like by hand as we used to at college.
