⭕ Here is an amazing and ultra-rare Vintage New Old Stock 1962 Thorens Masterpiece TD 224 Stereo Turntable /Record Changer with Original Owners Manual,Dust Bug,Wrench,Service Manual copy and Mounting Template.Serial # 11** makes this the 156th unit made since they started production at serial # 1000 in 1962 This is said to be the earliest known example in existence Besides being New Old Stock,this particular machine was originally made for ELPA Marketing Industries who was the North American Distributor for Thorens.Printed right on the changer arm is NOT FOR RESALE, DEMONSTRATION UNIT.The Td 224 is a 3-speed fully automatic record changer that holds eight records of either 7, 10 or 12.It uses the BTD 12 S tonearm and the E50 motor.It comes with a NOS Shure M77M-D cartridge.It even has the rare dust-bug wiper attachment and wrench for the changer platter arm as shown.It is in amazing mint New Old Stock cosmetic and working condition.Runs smooth and quiet.The only cosmetic issue is there are a few flea bite chips to the paint on the back side of the changer platter arm .
