It is very rare to find this unit is as new condition. No marks or damages. Careful observations of the heads, pinch roller and all other components in the tape path give no evidence of tape residue or wear prior to my brief tests. There is no evidence that the take-up reel, interconnects, tape splicer were removed from packing. This is likely the best example of a GX-747 DBX offered on sale in a few years. Was bought by my father. It was represented as New and Unused. I operated this deck for only 10 minutes, long enough to confirm it will play, record, fast forward and reverse. All electronic and mechanical functions work perfectly. The GX-747 DBX is the last and very best tape recorder made by AKAI. 4 track stereo tape recorder - glass and xtal ferrite heads for perfect recording and playback. Shipping might be an option.
