The System consists of a Pair Consecutive Serial No. Model 9 Mono-Block Amplifiers serial numbers 9-2425 and 9-2426, a Very Early Model 7 Stereo Preamplifier which was the 79th Model 7 that Saul Marantz made with serial number 7-10079 and a rare rack mount faceplate10B Stereo FM Tuner. All 3 units are tube. All of the equipment is in perfect working condition. As for the sound quality all I could say is that if you are looking at this and know what Marantz tubes gear sound like then you know what the sound is like. The amplifiers are a rare combination of consecutive serial numbers which are 2425 and 2426 and come with tube cages. I have the amplifiers will be pictured without tubes to get a better look of the cosmetic condition of the amplifiers. The buyer will have a choice of the type of tubes he would like to be sent with the amplifiers. The buyer will have a choice of Mullard, Amperex or some other tubes as Siemens EL34s to choose from. The Marantz 7 is a very early version of the Model 7 and is serial number 10079. It has had some of the capacitors professionally changed to newer better performing capacitors and it performs wonderfully and has one of the most sought after phono stages of vintage tube pre-amplifiers. Cosmetically the preamp is almost mint condition as you can see from the pictures. The rack mount model 10B serial number is 2458. The 10B is considered by many as one of if not the best of the vintage tube FM tuners by many a vintage collector/audiophile. Both the Model 7 preamplifier and the Model 10B FM tuber will come with original Marantz Walnut wood cabinets as you can see in the pictures. Can help with delivery/pickup.
