⭕ Up for grabs my much loved McIntosh MA6900 amplifier

Ive proudly owned this integrated amplifier for nearly 4 years and have enjoyed absolutely every moment. In my opinion nothing has ever come close to the sound I have now, delivered by this world class unit. The amplifier has been exceptionally well looked after and for that reason looks as new as the day it came out the factory, not a single mark or scratch on it, immaculate!!

To be honest I dont know where to start or what to say as words cant express how good it is, it is exceptional in every sense. Sounds astonishing, and more impressively at any volume. The finest details, dynamics and separation are delivered perfectly from the lowest Watt to the highest youd ever need. The soundstage produced is vast, and quite unlike any other amplifier Ive used or owned, creating a realistic presence in the room which always apparent.

Weighing in at around 35kg unboxed, the MA6900 is both an amazingly well engineered and well built machine. At the time of release this was the highest quality, flagship solid state model that McIntosh made and for that reason the finish is quite exceptional (unlike some of the more budget models in the range) and designed to last a lifetime. This model has only just been superseded in January this year, now in the form of the MA7900, at a cost of £7k!!!

I have all original documentation and accessories, the owners manual and warranty card, back-lit remote control, mains lead, inner box/wooden transport plate/packaging/outer box. After much deliberation, my sole reason for selling the amplifier is due to the release of a new C2500 valve preamplifier, with hybrid inputs. Since recently moving away from passive to active speakers (you can also use the MA6900 as a high end preamplifier), Ive decided to upgrade to a dedicated MC preamp as the power section is unnecessary for my needs. Shipping or collection accepted, if relatively local I may be able to make delivery myself to reduce delivery costs.
