⭕ A unique opportunity - not often a pair of Monitor Red 12 Chatsworths ever come up for sale- and certainly not one from famous record producer Martin Hannetts Tannoy wall of sound collection. These as the Tannoy label on the back of the cabinet shows were a special build for Martin Hannett as he apparently sent his reds to the factory and Tannoy fitted them into Chatsworths for him. Martin Hannett spent his short life collecting every conceivable piece of hi fi and studio equipment. In his music room at home he had numerous pairs of Tannoys and Quad Electrostatics and Auratones plus other speakers. He would bring rough mixes of bands like Joy Division home from Strawberry Studios and put the tapes on in his music room and monitor through the speakers.
