⭕ HILLE of LONDON TABLE and 4 x 661 DINING CHAIRS by ROBIN DAY

This is a very rare opportunity to aquire an original mid-century modernist dining suite designed for Hille of London by Robin Day.

The chairs are truly exceptional in design having vaneered shaped backs mounted to steel frames with padded seat bases. These are Robin Day 661 Chairs.

The table is simple yet elegant having vaneered flat rectangular top mounted on steel framed legs (matching the chairs)

It is hard to believe that these pieces were designed in 1950s.

The chairs bear no makers mark but the table holds the Hill of London badge (see photo) and was purchased from the same estate along with the sideboard I also have listed.

The seat bases are covered in gold fabric and would need recovering as the foam has clumped under the fabric.

These items are over 50 years old and have been used daily as good furniture should be enjoyed

They are very sturdy and practical designer pieces of furniture.
