Ive known this bike since the early 1970s. It was taken off the road in 1973 to have a top end overhaul. It then sat in a shed with the head off, doesnt turn over due to corrosion in bores. I rescued it in 2009 with the intention of restoring it, but.....! At some stage the bike was café race modified with what looks like a Paul Dunstall silver glass fibre seat, alloy mudguards and naked forks. It was fitted with an Avon fairing that was badly damaged, since disposed of along with what was left of the petrol tank and exhausts. Overall a good basis for renovation back to original as this one has the matching numbers and not many survived in original trim.
