Antique Aircraft Engine

⭕ Antique Airplane Engine? Likely from the 1930s era. No stamped name or plate indicating manufacturer.
Looks like an Aircraft engine to me.
This engine was dissembled and thoroughly cleaned. The case was bead blasted. The cylinders were bead blasted, honed, then painted with a high temp black paint. Has original pistons, rods etc.
All internals cleaned, oiled etc. The valve mechanisms, pushrods, and head were all nickel plated, as done during that time period. New ignition wires. The magneto is an Eisemann, and puts out a good hot spark.
The spark plugs are Bethlehem Aviation 775. This is a great display engine for an office, garage, man-cave or
living room (if youre not married). Most likely used in an open cockpit early aircraft of the 1930s, perhaps similar to the engines used in the Heath Parasol airplane. Very similar is design to a Henderson antique motorcycle engine. DISPLAY ONLY, NOT FOR FLIGHT!! I have never attempted to start this engine. It may or may not run, I have only used it as a great display and conversation piece.
A wonderful piece of aviation history for the true aviation buff. Let the pictures do the talking.
Please feel free to ask questions.
