GPW WWII Ford Jeep Engine


⭕ Ford GPW Engine 1945 August build

This engine has never been installed in a jeep. It is a new old stock engine that was pulled off the production line 1945 and placed in a crate to be used as a replacement engine in the field. It retains all the original F marked parts and is complete and ready to run. The pad on the RH top side of the block was never stamped. It is complete and original with Firestone F-40 Sparkplugs, SC stamp on the fan blades, FORD on the clutch plate surface. The original thermostat is F marked. It retains all its original F marked bolts and parts.This GPW engine has had all the gaskets and seals replaced along with rebuilt original to the engine fuel pump, carburetor, oil pump and GPW water pump. We went through the entire engine to make sure everything was perfect. We installed new freeze plugs and gaskets, Checked the valve springs. The cam, crankshaft and gears are all in excellent shape. All the bearings are perfect and lubed for storage. The cylinder walls and valves are now coated with grease for storage. The starter and generator are perfect and have never seen service.

This engine was stored in a clean and dry environment and has zero run time.
