⭕ This is a pair of original Vincent steel Touring mudguards which were on a 1949 H.R.D. Series C Rapide which I bought in 1972. I replaced them in 1979 with alloy guards, but kept them in storage, where they have been ever since. Plenty of surface rust, including some pitting, but they are still very solid. The bottom edge of the front guard is slightly ragged , but would easily file straight. The rear guard has been preserved by plenty of oily gunge underneath, which is still there .
