Shot Blasting is a technique that removes paint, old coatings, dirt and other contaminants from a concrete surface all at once. Blastcat shot blasters have full vacuum extraction that will significantly reduce the level of dust produced by the blasting process. Tiny steel shot is directed at high velocity to the concrete surface. This breaks up and removes the top layer. The shot bounces back into the system and is recycled while the dust is removed by vacuum. The use of fine shot will produce a concrete profile suitable for nearly all coating types. On concrete, steel, storage tanks and other surfaces, the BC-1315-R 13 blast profile allows you to blast up to 3000 square feet per hour and disassembles to pass through a 24 diameter opening for storage tanks. Its zero degree turning radiuses allows blasting in tight areas, so its great for corners and other obstructions. The joystick enables operator to walk on side, front or back of the unit.
