BMW R69S engine, completely rebuilt and in beautiful condition.


The story is that this engine was the project of a mechanic working in the repair department of a BMW dealership. During the 1980s or 1990s, the local BMW motorcycle dealership decided that it was no longer economical to provide repair service for this era of motorcycle.

Since the pre-1970 parts on the shelf were now essentially dead stock, an industrious mechanic assembled this engine using as many of the NOS parts that he could find. that is the story, anyway. I was actually told that the entire engine was made from NOS parts, but i dont believe that is true.
