⭕ This is a beautiful example of an original late 1958 or early 1959 Gibson ES-175D. This guitar is in excellent condition. The guitar is 100% original with the exception of a recent professional refret. The guitar has a reasonable amount of weather checking and there are a few scratches throughout. The one large scratch of note is located on the back and is circular. Overall, the condition would be about a 7-7.5. When you look inside the guitar you see a 10. It is perfect. There are no signs that the guitar has ever been tampered with. It is super clean inside. When you look at the backs of the original PAFs you can see that they are very clean. There is no question as to their originality. When you plug it in it really springs to life. The pickups are very strong. There is no noise in the pots or the switch. It is a truly great guitar. This is one of the very rare ones that came originally with Epiphone tuning machines rather than the Gibson ones.
