⭕ Myford Super 7 Lathe Serial # SK131011. April 1977. Standard length.
This lathe has been used for no more than 2 hours since new.
The grease you see on and around the gears is the original Myford factory preservation put on with a paint brush, the head stock bearings are as one would expect, perfect, the bed has marks along it where it has stood with the fibre/cork wipers in contact with the bed for long periods (years), thankfully no water based suds were ever used and never will be on any of my machines. There is absolutely no bed corrosion or wear, and nothing can be felt running a finger nail along the it, the marks are simply that, discolouration. When winding the carriage from chuck to tailstock there is no difference in resistance and it is factory tight. The belts are factory as is the whole thing. Tool holder is the original Myford clamp.
