The new Trend Modular Window System is the latest innovation in timber window construction, allowing eight different styles of window to be made quickly and accurately on various makes of spindle moulders with minimal set-up time.

It is ideal for small to medium sized joinery companies, having a low investment cost and with many of the tools being shared across all window styles, other styles can be added at minimal extra cost.

SPINDLE MACHINE SPECIFICATION FOR WINDOW MANUFACTURE
Sliding table (preferably flush with machine table)
Spindle shaft diameters: 30mm
Usable spindle shaft height: 120mm minimum
Height required if using a mountable sliding carriage shaft: 160mm minimum
Recommended motor power: 7.5HP (3 phase supply)
Spindle speed: 3,500 -- 9,000prm
Diameter required through machine table: 220mm
Diameter required inside hood and with clear vertical access: 240mm

All tools are made from steel, each tool and spacer having an individual number for ease of identification and to speed up the assembly process for each operation.

The machine is set once using the setting gauge supplied, profiles/tenons being produced on the sash and outer frame without altering the machine settings.

Accuracy of tool dimensions ensures correct assembly every time and avoids the requirement for test runs. All tooling is disposable tip, giving constant diameters and profiles.

A window complete with sash and ironmongery can be produced in 2-3 working hours and, whilst it is not necessary to understand window manufacture, operators must be fully acquainted with spindle moulder operation.
