⭕ This carbide miners lamp is very unusual. Made by William Vogel & Brothers of New York (WV & B Metalcraft stamped on the water fill cap), it resembles the James Taylor patent July 4, 1911. Otherwise I havent found this in any literature. 3 1/2 inches high, 1 1/2 inch diameter base, and 2 1/2 inch diameter top, stamped PAT.APPLIED FOR. Odd design of the conical water can. By all accounts of knowledgeable collectors, this is likely the only example of this design in existence. The hairline cracks become inconsequential for such a unique item. No dents, or signs of abuse.
