⭕ This extremely rare Breyer Five Gaiter has been in my family for over 40 years. Upon researching this model, I discovered that Breyer made the Five Gaiter in the early 1960s in three decorator colors, Florentine, Copenhagen, and Wedgewood.

I sent this model to a couple of different well known Breyer dealers/collectors and they were quite astonished and excited when they discovered that this model existed. Upon very careful examination they verified that it was authentic and that the paint finish was in fact original Breyer factory finish. They assured me that it was probably a salesmans sample or test color model, that my Father had purchased along with the other Breyers over 40 years ago. This Breyer is in very near mint condition. No scuffs, no scratches, and very very little discoloration, if any at all. This Dappled Black is absolutely gorgeous, and his finish is very shiny and glossy. In addition to his very rare color, he also has the very rare eye whites which was also quite unique of some of the early Breyers.
