⭕ This Regina is a historic musical piece and an exceptional one at that. Lets start with a description of the cabinet. It is a mahogany cabinet with an incredibly beautiful finish. There are no major or even minor dings, scratches or bumps on this machine anywhere, In fact, the finish is a rich deep brownish red mahogany with that tight wood grain very visible and distinctively elegant. The legs have no cracks or separations in the wood and are in excellent shape. The drawer is as it should be and I still have the key to the lock. The lock on the door does have its original key and it works properly. As you probably know these keys are very hard to find. Springs are strong. It raises and lowers the 15-1/2 inch discs flawlessly. The sound board on this Regina is incredibly rich, full, crystal clear and loud. You will not hear a better sounding Regina 35 than this one. All the teeth on the double combs are there so no problems. In case you are unfamiliar with this machine, it was made in the late 1800s and was the equivalent of the modern day juke box. It holds 12 discs which go up and down to change songs automatically. So you select a starting disc, wind it up and listen to 4-7 discs before re-winding, It is the most incredible marvel!
