If you are looking, then you probably know the significance of these iconic, legendary brownface amps. They were only produced in 1963, so you might not have the £10k to buy a MINT original ! (if you were lucky enough to ever find one !)
Here is the next best thing. This is a hand built, point to point, top of the line, all valve amp. Built to the exact spec of the 63 Fender.
Please do not confuse this with the Fender Vibroverb re-issues from some years back. They were valve, but based on a Printed Circuit Board, and NOT point to point handwired like the originals and this model. PCBs can go brittle after prolonged use due to the cycle of hot /cold . They are hell to repair and often require the whole PCB to be replaced. If a cap blows on a hand wired amp, your tech guy just takes out the old one and solders in the new. Then youre good to go for another ten years.!!

This hand built amp is very close to mint condition. Would almost pass as new in a shop display. Truly loved and cared for from day one. I had this built to order apprx four years ago , but have only really used it for bigger prestige gigs. I paid extra to upgrade with top end Weber alnico speakers and also had a half power switch to drop the output down to around 20 watts .

Tone is subjective, but this amp captures everything that Fender obsessives rave about. Takes pedals well, and the valve driven reverb and trem is about the best Ive ever heard. Comes with £40 custom padded cover.

If you want to research prices, please track down a mint condition Fender re-issue and compare that price to what I am asking. Bearing in mind you are not comparing like for like, that should say volumes about the value of what is offered here.
