The F-5 Master Model embodies the utmost skill, craftsmanship,and technical knowledge of the worlds greatest mandolin makers. Finished with an ultra-thin, hand-brushed varnish and hand-applied French polish, the Gibson F-5 Master Model is the ultimate in sound and beauty.



This Gibson Mandolin F-5 Master model, Vintage 1977 which was in a cedar closet for many years after being purchase new for a Christmas gift for my uncle. My uncle played guitar mostly but very once in a while would invite his musical friends to join in with this Gibson Mandolin.

I requested new strings, bridge and pick-guard which had started to deteriorate. Also felt inside case shows wear opposite strings. Case is in good condition but not re-felted.
