⭕ Up for SALE is the complete drivetrain for a 1965 Porsche 911. The drivetrain is from a 1965 Porsche 911 with a serial number of 301981. All items are sold in as is.

The items included are as follows.
-Complete 2.0 Aluminum Engine
-5-speed Transmission
-Pair of Solex Carburetors
-Aluminum Fan Housing
-Fiberglass/Plastic Engine cover
-Steel air filter housing assembly
-Original Bosch Distributor with spark plug wires
-All Throttle linkages from the transmission back
-Starter motor

The Aluminum and Steel items listed in this sale have been lightly soda blasted. Sandblasting and corrosive strippers were not used. A more thorough cleaning will have to be done by the buyer to remove areas of rubberized undercoating seen on the oil cooler, heads, bottom of transmission, etc.

Detailed Description of Condition
901/01 Aluminum Engine 2 litters
The engine is seized and will need to be disassembled to be made functional again. Penetrating fluid has been poured in to the exhaust and the intake valves, but no serious attempt to turn over the engine has been made for fear of causing damage. There are no cracks or heavy signs of corrosion on the block or the heads.

902/1 5-speed Transmission
The drive shafts freely spin in unison. The clutch fork wiggles back and forth but does not appear to go through full range of operational motion. The Shifter shaft slides forward and backwards(not easily) and rotates slightly side to side. There are no cracks and the only area of corrosion is located where the steel transmission mount is connected.
