⭕ Here we have a 1968 428 PI ENGINE from a real shelby, date 8B3 , A on back of block. has a 67 shelby 2x4 intake C7ZX, has the C6AE 428 flywheel with the big spline clutch and pressure plate, has the correct C8OE fan, also S7MS lemans valvecovers, two holley carbs. this engine ran great untill no fire to the distributor. prob a ground problem ? i had a fresh built 427 i was going to put in the shelby anyways so i yanked this 428PI out and doing the swap. the only thing i see wrong with the engine is one of the fan blades is bent and the temp sending unit location on intake has a flat plug as seen in piicture. everything you see on engine goes except for the aircleaner. i was told the heads have CJ valves installed and the heads are 390 heads that have been reworked.
