This is the real deal and we know the complete history of this documented, very rare, Pontiac Ram Air IV Service Replacement block. This Ram Air IV block can be the foundation and cornerstone to bring a car to its full collectable value.

4 Bolt Mains with bearing cap part numbers:

Date code is 1231 or January 23rd 1971

Both sides of the block have cast numbers 400

Lifter Valley cast code is O/O = 400

All factory bolts

This is a standard bore block at 4.12000. Six out of the 8 cylinder holes are very good. Two cylinder holes have some very light rust. This Pontiac Ram Air IV block has been completely cleaned and tested for cracks stating the block has no damage and is in excellent condition.

This authentic SR block is designed to fit both A-Body (GTO/Judge) and F-Body (Firebird/Trans Am) 1970 cars.
