⭕ Ford 427 Side Oiler Block date code 2D27 (1972 Ford Service Block)
STD bore in good shape with 2 sleeves installed no ridge and the cylinders look straight.The only cylinder issue we see is a small pitting spot in the upper area of the number 8 cylinder.I dont have a clue what caused this and it is in the area of where the top ring runs.

4-bolt Crossbolt mains on # 2,3 and 4.Main caps,main bolts and cross bolts & spacers installed and included.
The numbers on the block include a 66 427 on the back,a 427 with a 26 underneath it in the valley,and the 352 on the front like all FE motors
There is an area in the front by the number 1 cylinder which had a front bolt hole repaired on an ear that had a piece out of the block.This is old and it works fine.

Steel Crankshaft C5AE-6300-C std / std bearings,cross drilled,screw in plugs on rod throws.It has the $ cast into crank.
Balanced rotating assembly
7 1/2 inch Harmonic Balancer C4AE-6316-E (great rubber) with crank spacer and bolt.This has the single pulley built into it.

Aluminum medium riser FoMoCo Intake Manifold C6AE-9425-K heard it called a Sidewinder.Valley pan and bolts included.This has the oil fill tube and cap.It has been painted blue,but could be returned to natural aluminum.This engine originally have a dual quad intake which has since been sold.We were running the Holley Projection Fuel Injection on top of this in the car which is why we put the single 4V intake on it.

Aluminum Mickey Thompson M/T Valve Covers finned aluminum painted black with Ford cast in and also H/P 427.Underneath they show 427 with a part number 3293900.These also include a pair of rare Offenhauser breathers attached.They are not perfect,but look good.
