Ducati 750 Sport 1974 Complete engine Serial # 752132 DM 750

This engine came from a running 1974 750 sport. I was asked to remove the front cylinder to clean the sludge trap and to check the side play on the connecting rods and checking bore & valve guides clearances.

I did clean the crank, measure the side play (.022) According to the workshop manual tolerances .016 to .045

Hone the front cylinder bore ( .003) clearance Max per workshop manual .005

Valve guides within tolerances

Then this engine was put away with fresh oil in a Dry & heated place for 10 years

I will prior to selling, paint the front cylinder black ( to match the rear) reassemble the front heads with new gasket and seals adjust the valves on both cylinders, adjust points ( timing)

This engine does not have the factory seal ( on the bottom of the crankcase)

I dont know the full history on this engine only my findinds

The original gearbox cover was missing ,I will supply a replacement not painted black as per pics
