⭕ 1897 Fairbanks-Morse Charter Patent, vertical gas engine Serial no. 2770. Rare early 2 hp Fairbanks Morse with piston trip ignitor and hot tube ignition. An outstanding example with most of its original paint. NO pitting on metal parts. No cracks, breaks or welds. Cap that goes over intake valve is missing, everything else looks complete. Like a time capsule, this engines condition is about as good as it gets. I have ran this engine on its hot tube and runs fine. Wood handle on crank is original. A super nice engine that has never been offered for sale before.
