⭕ flathead v8 engine,unused in original airtight metal crate.

Here for sale my flathead v8 engine,its in its original airtight metal crate,manufactured by simca france under licence by ford for the u.n forces, comes complete with all the ancillaries,carb, distributor,plugs,leads, oil ,dynamo,waterpumps ,plugs,etc etc

They have proved to be a very succesful alternative to a very expensive professional rebuild of an original engine (if the original is good enough to be rebuilt) one was in a 40s ford which completed the gruelling paris to peking rally a couple of years ago ,a test indeed.

i,v had this engine around 5 years,i,m never going to need to use it,so its now for sale,i took off the crate cover and the engine turns nicely,the whole thing looks like it was built yesterday,its been a great conversation piece particularly with the crate,it has all the original labels,paperwork,stickers e.t.c. a nice unit indeed.
