⭕ Petter Handyman Oil Engine.
I located it about 1980 in a scrap yard.
Restored many years ago, but last run about 4 years ago.
Hence sold as seen, and not running. It all rotates and the valves are free.
Im too old to handle it now, hence reluctant sale.
Known faults :- one cover missing off oil well on crank main journel , oiler glass broken above cylinder, ear broken off screw cap on oil tank, no silencer.
Water tank appears original, with engine details faintly stencilled on back.
Primus blowtorch,( has two jets,) for starting by heating the glow plug, has some of the raffia handle insulation still in place.( I have never lit this ! )
The bogey is not original. Starting handle and pulleys available as shown in photo.
I have not been able to accurately date this engine as Petters said their records do not now exist. They suggested just prior to 1900, but I think it is probably a bit after.
