⭕ Highly desirable Garrard 301 turntable, Garrard base and SME 3012 Series I tonearm in superb condition. Turntable comes complete with original boxed 301 grease, Garrard instruction book with matching serial number inspection card, mounting template, 45 adapter and Garrard 60 Hz strobe disk. The super-rare SME 3012 Series I tonearm has original SME screen can and phono cables, ground wire, copy of instructions and add-on bias device with paperwork. The Garrard spring suspension wood base has been restored and repainted in the original color black paint.



This all-original grey hammertone-paint, grease bearing 301 turntable is from the first run, schedule no. 51400/1A, with serial number 45XX, circa 1954. It is also a 60Hz, 110 volt model for use here in the United States and Canada. This is the most desirable of all the 301s and seldom comes in this near perfect condition with original boxed grease, matching manual and inspection card.



The all-original, mint condition SME model 3012 Type 1 tonearm from 1959- 1962 is complete including the original SME headshell and optional add-on bias device. The type I model is considered the best of all their early arms due mainly to the heavier, nickel-plated brass arm tube the others dont have. It is also considered one of the best arms for Ortofon SPUs, S15s and mono As and Cs. It measures 16 overall, 12 from pivot to stylus. Another very desirable feature of the type 1 is the universal socket that receives both standard horizontal 4 pin headshells and nonstandard horizontal 2 pin or diagonal 3 and 4 pin heads by rotating the socket 45 degrees. This is done by tightening the headshell in the socket and rotating it to the position desired. To summarize, this arm will accommodate not only Standard SME type headshells but will also work with all 4 pin Ortofon SPUs and mono heads, Ortofon 2 pin monos, EMTs ESLs, Neumann DST, etc.
