⭕ nice quality original vintage Marantz Model 7 Stereo tube preamp, made in the 1960s. this is not a reissue, this is an original 1960s Marantz Model 7. this 7C is serial number 10230, the most desireable Model 7s are pre 15000. after 15000 Marantz made some changes to the preamp. most vintage audiophiles feel that the original circuitry before serial number 15000 are the best series. i agree and this preamp is one of those most desireable series, serial number 10230. this preamp is completely original with all original parts, except for tubes and feet. this preamp works well and sounds very very nice. it has that incomparable Marantz transparent, involving, spacious, extended, detailed, sweet and musical sound. this preamp is considered by most audiophiles as the finest preamp that has ever been manufactured. this preamp uses 6 12AX7s tubes. this preamp has 4 Amperex 12AX7s and 2 Sylvania 12ax7s. this preamp was built with the most care and quality.
