A simply superb Matching pair of Original fully coil sprung Antique Victorian chesterfield 3 seater sofas offered in stunning condition dating from around c1890 .

The sofas came from Kensington in London and had recently been totally refurbished from top to bottom with no expense spared .
The sofas benefit from a full bulls hide Chesnut Brown Leather which is very thick and sumptuous and has a fantastic patina & marbling to the leather .

Both of the sofas have retained their Original Horse & Coconut Hair stuffing throughout .

These are a genuine pair & Both of these sofas has a makers product number on the back right leg of each sofa .

The sofa stands on its original tenon joined hardwood frame which is supported by a metal bar through the centre underside of each sofa for added support , and the bottom of each sofa is covered with brown hessian as it should be .

The sofas both stand on Solid turned Mahogany Front legs & solid turned Mahogany back legs with original ceramic shoe and casters .

Very Deeply padded and very comfortable scrolled backrest & arms, finished with brass stud work detail surround to each arm and a plump stuff over seating area with original Horsehair filling throughout making it beautifully soft & supple to sit in , complimented by a deep skirt with brass studded trim .
