⭕ This a excellent Kwik-Way 042 Cylinder Head Shop Guide & Seat machine that has come from Roush Racing in Detroit. This machine saw very limited use only on the rare occasion that there was a problem with a new cylinder head installed on a Roush edition Mustang.There are over 21 valve seat cutters alone and it only appears that 2 have ever even been used. This machine also comes with a complete set of MIRA cutters. MIRA is the top of the line Swiss tooling company that most NASCAR teams etc use. These cutters will cut the hardest of seats and there are various designs of 3 angle cutters,,,1 cut provides all 3 angles. There are various thickness of the 45 degree angle for drag race heads, street heads, ect. There are also bowl hog cutters, and throat cutters for the MIRA system to enlarge the throat and bowl area. There are chamfered chamber cutters as well to enlarge the combustion chamber. Many pilots included for the MIRA tool holder, which is morse taper for the machine.There are many standard pilots in all popular sizes, arbor for the seat cutters, seat driver to drive seat cutters, seat installer, valve spring seat cutters of various diameters, many different center pilots for the spring seat cutters. Cutters are also included to trim the top of the valve guides down to various diameters for whatever seal type is desired.
For valve guide installation there are core drills for all popular sizes. These have a pilot built on the end to center in the guide and then you can cut for the valve guide all in 1 step. These sell for over $150- a piece in Goodson. There is a complete set of finish reamers, valve guide installation driver, centering fixtures etc. Also included is the morse taper drill chuck for the machine, spot facing tools, boss cutters to machine down the step for screw in stud and guide plate installation. Reverse tapping feature makes it easy to tap for screw in studs. Column electric powers up and down, while transporting it the switch box cracked but it still functions perfectly. We dont have the original Kwik-way legs that bolt on the bottom of this table because at Roush it was sitting on a bench top instead. You can easily put this on any heavy-duty table, bench, or we just had it on blocks which allows you to adjust the table to the exact working height which is easiest for you.
