PATEK PHILIPPE CLOCK

⭕ Here is one of the original Patek Philippe watch showroom display clocks. This miracle of time weighs in at 20 pounds (9 kg)! The clocks movement is a complicated 8 day mechanical, featuring the complete navigation for the earth as it makes its long journey around the sun. This display clock is so advanced that the earth actually rotates once on its own axis every 24 hours, while the moon travels round the earth in 29.5 days and also completes a full rotation around its axis. The moonphases that are visible to us from the earth are accurately reproduced in this complicated display 365 days of the year. If this wasnt already enough, the clock has the repeater function, that strikes the time out on the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and hour, via the 4 bells. This incredible mechanical representation is all preserved under the hand blown crystal glass domed exhibition cover.

This model is the Grand Sovereign Phantom (black dial) that has the precisely detailed rhodium/white gold-toned solid inner dial that has the hand milled, deep cut rhombus pattern, and the hallmarked framed stainless steel outer open dial. The clocks movement is secured to the solid wood, hallmarked, black piano finished and yellow gold overlaid base, via the 4 heavy yellow gold edition overplayed pillars. This magnificent mechanical wonder is protected and preserved behind the beveled crystal glass, and access to the working is accomplished through the front and back beveled crystal glass doors in the convex style. This clock measures 13 3/4 high and 11 3/8 wide. This amazing piece weighs 20 pounds. The clock comes with the original key.
