1953 GIBSON LES PAUL WRAPTAIL PLAYER


⭕ 1953 GIBSON LES PAUL WRAPTAIL PLAYER..........Guitar has been refinished ages ago and has turned more green than gold , finish is completly beat.

Has old headstock repair which has been solid for years.

It has newer switch , pots and wiring which work OK at best but ALL really need to be replaced to work perfect.

Pickups are somewhat original. Both bases are original . both bases & bobbins have red overspray , one original bobbin & one new bobbin. covers are original but worn to death . Pickups read ...bridge 7.57 .....neck = 7.81. both sound great and would leave as is.

Tuners are original with NO extra drilled headstock holes , tuners in decent shape . truss rod cover original.

Neck is straight and truss rod works fine. Neck is medium chunky. Frets are original and first 5 or 6 show a good bit of wear but guitar still plays OK. All binding and inlays are original .Serial number is original. some of the front of the headstock was repaited at headstock repair. All binding is very worn .
