⭕ 1960 Super 400CES.Only 98 Super 400CES with PAF Pickups were built by Gibson between 1958 and 1961. It was the most expensive instrument Gibson built at the time, and only a few highly experienced luthiers were allowed to make them with the best wood available. The guitar belonged to the Van Hoose Collection ( Thomas van Hoose wrote the book The Gibson Super 400-Art of the Fine Guitar. There is a picture of the guitar in the book) Later it became part of the most famous guitar collection ever: The Chinery Collection.The PAF Pickups are strong and the volume and tone controls work perfectly.
