⭕ LEGENDARY SETTIMIO SOPRANI - ARTIST VI ACCORDION



For sale a legendary Settimio Soprani -- Artist VI piano accordion. This is the twin of the famous original Scandalli -- Super VI made in the late 1950s. Regarded by pros to be one of the best accordions ever built.



This model predates the Artist VI with the fan shaped grill, and is very rare to find. Highly regarded hand-made cassotto model.

Condition:



The bellows is in very good condition and airtight. Great compression & response.

Keys & keyboard in great condition as per photos. White keys have yellowed over time which is normal.

All treble & bass couplers and the palm master works as expected and switch easily.

Grill in very good condition, with minor signs of use & cleaning marks.

Decent leather shoulder straps included. Bass/wrist strap & bellow lock straps in good condition.

Bass buttons all even & working as expected.

Some minor scuff marks & scratches on body from usage / wear & tear. No major scratches, chips or damage to the body.

The accordion plays beautifully. Tuning appears to be good, accordion can be played as is.

Comes with the original hard, shaped case. The case is very old and is worn, yet is still sturdy & protects the accordion.
