Ex-top of the range Yamaha arranger keyboard (original RPP in 1997: £2000) in near mint condition, in full working order, with one owner. The instrument has not been gigged with, and has lived in a pet free, smoke free house. Its got lots of sounds which can be layered together. With powerful sound edit features, you can make sounds by mixing patches and applying synth filters and custom editing patterns.


Reason for selling:

I have changed from keyboard/organ to learning piano. Having brought a full-size digital piano (Kawai MP7), I no longer have room to keep my keyboard unfortunately.

Sounds are augmented with DSP effects, chorus and reverb settings. There are too many DSP, chorus and reverb parameters to summarise them here: you would need to test the instrument or read the manual to appreciate (email me for the PDF of the manual). There are 16 banks of 8 preset buttons where you can store registrations and access them via foot switch control or by button press. Also, there are percussion pads and custom sample pads so you can create your own fill-ins or sound effects to add into your live performance. All these things make the instrument great for live performance.

Furthermore, there are another 32 rhythm presets included on floppy disc that can be loaded into memory and used without the disc present.

Each rhythm preset contains four components---drum kit, bass, chord, pad and phrase---each of which can be either on/off during performance. In style re-voice window, each rhythm component can be modified: you can custom change the drum kit, bass, chord, pad and phrase sounds. Each of the 120 Rhythm presets have four different ONE-TOUCH-SETTINGS: selecting one of these settings automatically sets up the keyboard via selecting the sound presents/effects that suit a particular style variation

The instrument comes with a graphic equaliser with EQ bands at Low; Low-Mid; Mid; Mid-High; High.

About the instrument:

The PSR7000 will suit professional musicians or up-and coming keyboard players/aspiring amateurs---someone looking for Yamaha Tyros functionality but with limited budget. Using the MIDI to USB adapter, you can use the instrument as a controller for a virtual instrument or record music via laptop or PC.

The PSR7000 Also contains World Music Instrument tones for Folk, Arabic and Jewish music (along with the ability to switch from Equal Temperament to Arabic Scaling). Contains microphone jack for singers. Has ports for two foot-switches and an expression pedal; contains full Midi-in/out/through ports; has audio aux-in and aux-out ports (R +L/R for both).

The PSR7000 has a very large Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen (240 x 320 pixels) which provides great live functionality combined with studio-menus for music production (see pictures).
