⭕ Up for sale is this antique Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk. It is covered in the Damier pattern with the dark brown and white checkering. Some signs of wear and usage as expected on a trunk of this age(circa 1895). Top of line trim in brass and leather. Original brass handles easily support the trunks weight. Hardware is in good working order). Zinc bottom.
Inside is clean with no bad stains or smells. No inserts. This was an estate find and according to the sellers was restored about 10 years ago. Initials C-A on ends and Charley-Avril(?) on top. With dimensions of 36wide, 18deep, and 24 tall, this piece has a impressive streamline look. The 18 depth also allows it to fit in many places(such as the end of a bed) without looking bulky. This size can be used as a coffee table as well and allows room for an overhanging glass top.
