⭕ A very nice 1940s picnic set made for a Louis Vuitton harsided suitcase, monogram pattern. Good overall condition. JSM initials with racing stables recognition bands, numbered 6.
Twin side locks with one center securing clasp.
All rivets are stamped Louis Vuitton.

The glasses are missing but I tried champagne flutes and they fit inside the square center compartment (russet felt lined) and there is room for two small tumblers or porto glasses also. I dont know if the items are the ones which should be in this suitcase but they fit perfectly. None are Vuitton stamped and most are made in England (Switzerlzand for the stove, Sweden for the plates). A rare sight and an excellent accessory for any classic car display or simply a wonderful luxury item to enjoy on classy weekends.
