⭕ Here we are absolutely delighted to offer a very Rare Important Royal Worcester Vase Pierced and Signed by the Master George Owen, the Piercing in real life is so fine you just cant believe a human hand was capable of such work, realising what goes into making an object like this is incredible, first the clay must be at the the leather hard stage before piercing then it would be pieced for a short time until it dried out, then it would have to be wrapped in a wet rag and put in a metal tin until it was ready to be pierced again and the clay had absorbed the right moisture, Owen pieces like ours would have took months to complete and thats if they didnt break when finally fired in the kiln as many had splits and were later sold after owen death in 1916 and these would carry the royal Worcester datemark after c1916, so you know anything Royal Worcester marked before this date would have been fired to owens perfection and passed his through inspection with no splits or faults. OWEN WOULD LOCK HIMSELF AWAY IN A ROOM TO PIERCE THESE WONDERFUL OBJECTS, HIS SECRET OF HOW THIS WAS DONE DIED WITH OWEN AND AS NEVER BEEN REPEATED AND I FEAR NEVER WILL SO TO OWN SOMETHING THIS SPECIAL WITH SUCH A WONDERFUL HISTORY IS AMAZING...As an object of beauty it doesnt get much better and for investment well with prices rising and some Owens selling for tens of thousands then you have everything you could want the enjoyment of owning something so special and a safe future investmen.
